roachparty: I think I have a new contender for largest hisser in the colony. From what I’ve observed, the longer it takes for them to reach maturity, the larger their size is in the end. I have males from the same litter who are only a third this size. Those ones reached adulthood in only three months. This guy is ten months old now, and just had his final molt two days ago.
roachparty: It’s hisser cleaning day! This is all of my adults. There are a few larger nymphs in there as well. I’ll be counting them when I return them to the cleaned terrarium. I should get a photo of the little ones, too. Not cute.
roachparty: Just a size comparison. Both are adult males, and brothers. The big guy (Elliot, who is a freaking tank. I think he’s still the record holder.) just grew up a lot slower. D:
